About DiffTidy
DiffTidy is a focused workspace for comparing two versions of text. It is designed for writers checking edits, engineers reviewing configuration and anyone who needs to see exactly what changed without opening an account.
Built around a simple workflow
Open or paste two versions, compare them, review one change at a time and take the result back to your work. Word, character and line highlighting support different kinds of content. Restoration and export help you act on a difference after finding it.
Browser processing
The website serves static files. The comparison engine runs in your browser using a Web Worker and the open-source jsdiff library. DiffTidy does not provide file hosting, collaboration accounts, cloud backups or an upload API.
Languages and accessibility
The comparison interface is available in 40 languages, including right-to-left layouts. Detailed guides and policy pages are available in English and Korean. Unsupported browser languages use English. Controls support keyboards, visible focus and reduced-motion preferences. Line signs accompany color highlights.
Scope
The tool compares text, not the meaning or correctness of a program. It does not validate legal documents, execute code, detect plagiarism or compare binary formats. File-size and computation limits help keep ordinary devices responsive.
